WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE

 

We want to:

  • Get every participant active - currently only 17.5% of children are achieving their 60 minute daily activity target (Sport England 2019), we want to do our part to increase this

  • Deliver MiddxMoves in any environment - fields, playgrounds, sports halls, car parks...

  • Align the project with the national curriculum

  • Encourage adults to take part, along with children

  • Create healthy habits for life

The physical activity circuit incorporates the fundamental movement skills. Participants will develop cricket skills, along with improving the following:

The stations can be completed as a continuous circuit by individuals or a timed circuit in groups. The session can be run outside and inside.

For schools, we suggest the circuit is completed in small groups with a allotted time on each station. We have created a points system to add a challenging element. School classes can be grouped together by Key Stages and other changes can be made to suit the School.
